This is the “life and times” of the Greiner family. In most ways, the Greiner family is like other families everywhere. However, there are some distinctive differences. First, since God made Max an artist, his creativity can be seen in many areas of their lives. God also had to make Sherry capable of putting up with him, his obsession to create and his love of the outdoors and bowhunting!

On March 17, 2007, Max was honored by the Lone Star Bowhunters Association, the first volunteer, non-profit organization he helped form back in 1974, at the age of 22. At the time, Max was the Bowhunting Vice President of the Texas Field Archery Association, the youngest in their history. With the help of others, Max built the new archery association to promote ethical and responsible bowhunting through out the state. Max wrote the organziation's constitution and designed all the original promotion literature and their logo. Max served as the first Vice President, and Chairman of the Legislative Committee. Max was the individual who introduced the Texas Archery Stamp to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, representing the LSBA and the TFAA. Max is pictured with other founding members, Von Evans, Bob Lee, Mike Palmer, Tink Nathan, Jim Beard and John Culpepper, Jr. |
